| High fever/headaches and lingering cough
This cold has been going on five days now with fevers over 100 often reaching 102. the highest being 104. The headaches are a constant even with alternating between Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I have a major loss of appetite with cloudy head and aching all over. Several episodes of severe shivers. I manage to drink lots of water. A few bowls of soup which almost make me sick. Profuse sweating. The mucus is light brownish greenish yellow. All members of the household have had the same illness, I am the last. The others started with theirs two week ago (Dec 4 2011) they still have the cough. I'm over 50 and this is by far the worst cold I've ever had due to the non stop fevers and headaches.
