What do you think's wrong with me?

I've been sick for the past 4-5 days. Fever of 104F (40C), lungs full of mucous (coughing it up), weak, etc... I went to the doctor and she said it was a bacterial infection so I've been taking some antibiotics. I think its giving me a yellow mouth. One thing I did notice is that my fever's only go up to like 101F at most now. My throat is really red but I have no throat pain like its strep. Any ideas? Was the doctor right?
