I had a cold w/ cough for two weeks, it is now the middle of the 3rd week and still this mucus cough. The mucus is clear to white, I do have asthma and use dulera. At the beginning of my cold I took robitussin and that helped some, the second week took the mucinex dm liquid and that is gone. In between I have been using my neb and that has helped bring up the mucus. The problem is still this cough w/ mucus. I cannot afford to go to the doc right now and would really appreciate any kind of input that you guys have.
Update: did a lot of coughing yesterday.. Today the coughing as subsided quite a bit. I do still have a little bit of clear-white mucous. Guess it had to run its course. Caryn perhaps that is the case w/ you as well.
I did have a coughing spell last night but no, I think that it is over. Mucous? just the clear stuff, I have Asthma so that is understandable. How about you, over yet?
