Flu-like symptoms but w/o fever, body aches...
I have the common cold symptoms of rhinorrhea and productive cough, but this is much different than any cold I have ever had. I feel like I may have some kind of flu strain because my symptoms (5 days now) also include malaise, weakness, fatigue, neck stiffness, back stiffness, eye strain/fatigue, and tremulousness when prostrate; however, I have ran no fever (actually below normal at around 97.2), no body aches per say (discomfort in neck and back on movement), no nausea/vomiting, and no loss of appetite. I really am quite miserable but don't want to waste an effort seeing a health professional if this simply needs to run its natural course, but I'm concerned enough to be on the fence about whether to be seen or just wait. Does anybody know of any new cold or flu strains that may manifest with these symptoms? Any other particular condition I might otherwise be suffering? Do I stay or do I go??
