Post Nasal Drip Nausea

Hi. I've been having the flu for about 3 days now, but I am having quite severe nausea and I think it's due to Post Nasal Drip, as I have this constant metallic taste in my mouth, a feeling of mucus in my throat and I'm frequently coughing, and my stomach is also very tense (you can visibly see it contracting inwards). My main worry is the nausea as I have severe emetophobia. The nausea basically feels like car sickness but while I'm at home. Ginger tea doesn't seem to be working so I'm quite worried. I'm in constant fear that I'll be sick. Is there any cure for the Post Nasal Drip or nausea?

Re: Post Nasal Drip Nausea

Try a decongestant to dry it up. Ginger ale and chewing fresh ginger are usually more effective than ginger tea.

Re: Post Nasal Drip Nausea

I've been using ground/powder ginger instead of raw ginger sliced or grated like most internet articles say. Would this be why it wasn't as effective?
