Please help! DMSO for swelling

I had a lower bleph 5 months ago. Under my eyes I now have swelling that has not improved since one month after the surgery. It causes a shadow and makes it look like I have horrible bags and dark circles under my eyes. I am extremely depressed about it. My PS did a co2 laser treatment in the area to tighten the skin but it has been 6 weeks and it looks the same as it did before (actually worse, because now its bright red AND swollen) I am desperate for some help. I have been avoiding people ever since I had this done. I feel like I have ruined my face.
I order DMSO topical (50%) about 3 months ago but was afraid to use it. I am desperate now. Does anyone know anything about this? I have got to change this, I can't stand looking like this anymore. I feel so ugly. PLEASE, if you have any suggestions I am open to anything. Thanks.
