Here's answers to your questions. If I can tell you any more, let me know!!
I thought it wasn't too bad of an experience. I'm very pleased with my reults. I ended up with a really natural look, other than the scars that is. But when I went for my first appointment with my OB she does a complete exam and that includes a breast exam, she thought I had only had a lift, she said if I hadn't told her there were implants she wouldn't have known, so they feel natural too.
My skin stretches really easily so after my first son I had a lot of sagging and had lost fullness. What this did for me was lift everything back up and fill them out again. (plus made my areola smaller!!) They are in no way like what people picture "fake" breasts to look like.
As for the pain, I was hurting the first four to five days I would say. Just really sore when I had to move my arms, kind of like a pulled muscle. The hospital sent me home with vicadin, but it made me dizzy and feel out of it, so when the nurse called the next day to check on me I asked if I could not take it and she said that was fine, so I switched to Tylenol and felt fine. I did a lot of lifting at my job at the time so my doctor took me off work for five weeks, luckily where I work I get paid for sick leave, no matter what the leave is for, as long as a doctor okays it.
I didn't mind being ut under, just felt groggy and really thirsty the whole rest of the day. Oh and it was out patient surgery, so after I woke up and could show them that I could pee, I got to go home.
I never really paid much attention to what people said about the side effects. I work at a chemical company that makes silicone, so I'm aware of what it is. So, when my doctor suggested I get silicone implants and said that was fine. Besides, even with the saline ones they are in a silicone shell...
