| Re: Is septo-rhinoplasty as bad as I hear?
Wow, I just realized that you posted in 2003. So by now you should have had the Septo-rhinoplasty procedure by now. If so, I want you to tell me, how was the procedure for you. Was the procedure as painful as everybody says it would be?
Also, did you get general anesthesia too? I myself, have a deviated septum and I would like to get a nose job at the same time too, however, my surgery was delayed because I needed a medical clearance and close to my surgery date I started getting chest pains. So I canceled until I go through some heart tests like an echo-cardiogram etc...
But even once all of that is done, and I get my medical clearance to go ahead with surgery under general anesthesia, I will be looking for a new rhinoplasty doctor that uses the BIS monitor. This is a new device for surgeons to use during general anesthesia surgery to let the surgeon know if a patients anesthesia has worn off and the patient if feeling every nip and cut. Therefore leading the surgeon to administer more anesthesia.
So I must know, if you had your Septo-rhinoplasty procedure done as yet and if so, was it as painful as everybody told you it was?
