Really big nose - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Is there anybody out there who has had successful surgery on a really big nose? I have heard there are major problems if the recipient has thick skin.

Most of the before and after photo's, on the doctors sites, never show any body with a nose quite as big as mine. Can anybody help?

I also heard that thinner skin is an advantage when having a rhino, but a good doctor, I believe, should be able to improve also a nose with thick skin (at least that's what several doctors told me on consultations).
You should try Steven Denenberg's site (search him on google), where I've seen a lot of big noses done beautifully. Maybe will help you.

I don't know how big yours is, but mine wasn't small! I just had my surgery last night and I'm shocked there's no pain. There's only a bit of pressure but I feel great. I felt great when I woke up. Nothing to it. You have to go to a plastic surgeon and speak with him. We can only guess how difficult it might be. But mine said that thicker is more difficult, not to operate on but for the final effect it might not adjust to it's new shape.
