Dr. Sherrell Aston rhinoplasty - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

I was wondering if anyone has info on Dr. Aston of NYC. He is a known Dr. to Manhattan's social elite, but does not believe in b4 and after pix. A friend of mine has beautiful work from him, but just one reference is a bit minimal. I also felt that the changes he suggested during my consultation were not exactly in line with what I wanted so...any help?

Are you willing to take a chance with a doctor who doesnt show pics? And you dont know what his style is? Did he tell you what he was going to do , and didnt listen to what you wanted? Its very easy for a doctor to push his aestics on you.. BUT remember, you are the one that has to live with the finished product, not him! He just spends a couple of hours on your nose during surgery. so make sure you communicate very cleary with any doctor you use.. and tell them what you want and dont want.
A revision is not something you want ! I went to tabbal, he didnt show me pictures,, I trusted him, now i regret the day I ever did it! I need a major revision now with rib grafting, cause of the damage he did. Dont rush into this, please consult with a few more doctors. have you seen Pastorek or Pearlman?

I haven't seen either of those doctors. I will do a search online. I have contacted Toriumi in Chicago but he's booked until Feb- which is fine more time to save $! You're absolutely right about the level of trust, and without more referrals and pictures I just don't feel comfortable no matter how many rumored celebrities he's worked on. Anyone with personal experience of Dr Aston please advise!! Best of luck with your revision thanks so much for your experienced advice.
