restylane lip injection didnt last - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

i just had 2 tubes of restylane injected into my lips at the end of july. i looked like a duck for about 10 days, looked awesome for about 3 wks. and now i am back to the way i was before. this cost me $800.00 and didnt even last 2 full months. i am really discouraged and not sure what to do. i was under the impression that resty lasted around 6 months. should i expect my doctor to try again for free or is this just my tough luck? what would work better?

Fatcat - That brings up another good question..I didn't know what they could do for that. I assumed that would inject your own fat from another area of your body or something. I've never heard of restylane. What is that?
