A very close friend of mine is not happy with how she looks. I think she's beautiful, but she really wants to take care of those "little" things that have always bothered her. She is small chested, which I like, but she is self conscious about. I think she would really maybe benefit more from a lift than an enlargement. Can someone tell me the difference between the two? When they do a lift, do they actually impant anything or do they just get rid of some of the extra skin that causes the drooping? Also, what are the approximate costs of each procedure? She is a small B cup and she says she doesn't want to increase in cup size but wants to be able to fill her cup and not droop. Again, I think she's drop dead gorgeous.

Now, for the hair/vein removal. She wants to have her bikini area done, not completely gone, but you know... she wants to look like a model... down there. She also wants to have laser hair removal on her legs, hands, upper lip, and underarms. I realize she is starting to sound like a sasquatch, but she really doesn't have much hair anywhere. This is her deal. hehe She also has some veins on her upperlegs/thighs that she wants taken care of. She is VERY self conscious about the veins. What kind of prices are we looking at?

She seems to be reasonably happy with everything else. She doesn't want any other "plastic" surgeries. I think the hair and vein removal stuff is fine as it is really just superficially cosmetic. I don't believe she needs the breast job but if it's what she needs to feel better about herself...

So can you good folks help me out with some "approximate" pricing?

Oh and she wants to know how long the procedures generally last. Like, if she gets laser hair removal done on her bikini area, how long should it be until she starts to regrow?

Also, I know that with breast implants, you generally have to have them re-implanted later on in life. She is young so that might be a factor in her decision. How many years does an implant last?

Lazer hair removal can be very effective requiring only yearly touch ups after the initial removal. The initial removal can take upwards of several sessions because not all hair follicles are active and growing at the same time. She'll have a minimum of three treatments per area of removal, but should notice a signifigant less amount of hair growth even after the first visit. Bikini areas can run as much as $70-250 per session per area of body being treated. For example under arms may be as little as $80 each/ session. No tanning during this time either. The lazer works off the dark pigmentation of the hair.

Breast implants/lift can be done together but can get rather costly. Expect somewhere between $5000-10,000 for the combined surgeries. Down time may be upwards of a week, but the surgery itself will likely take no more than an hour to an hour and a half.

I'm sorry I really know nothing about the vein removal surgery.

I've had the laser hair removal done.

For upper lip it was $25 per treatment
Underarms was $75
Bikini $125
Legs $325

But hair grows in cycles so it takes 6-8 treatments to be permanent. However, some places (lip and legs) I've only had done three times and there is so much less hair that it's not even worth going back to get the extra removed.

I wasn't sasquatch either, but it is SO NICE to not have to shave every morning or have stubble or ingrown hairs.

Thanks for the replies, folks. I got some info on the web on prices at a location in Colorado. She won't be going there, but they had a pretty extensive list of services and the corresponding prices. I figure the prices should not differ THAT much, but we shall see...

Anyone have any experience with Ideal Image in Tampa, Florida? Are they any good?
