I know this may sound a silly question but i really need to know. Do you know of anyone who has had a facelift and years after their face returned to where it was before. I had a facelift 4 years ago now and it is terrible. Will it return. Please help. Many thanks.

Surgery won't stop the aging process. So yes, your face will someday get back to where it was before.

Hi. I had a facelift just over 4 years ago and fortunately I still looks good. Perhaps your doctor was very conservative and did not build up the muscles or do whatever else should be done. A good face lift should last at least 10 years, not four [even though you age every day].

My mom had a facelift in 1983 and she still has great results. When the muscle under the chin is tightened, it's done pretty much permanently. My mom's chin is a bit slack now but at least she has a nice neckline, which she never had before the surgery. The facelift part still looks very good too, just a little looser.

I agree that your doctor was probably too conservative in how much tissue he removed. I would just get the procedure done, by a very reputable doctor this time. Go wherever you have to, USA, wherever. Its worth it.
