Question Breast reductions

Does anyone know how long after having a baby a woman can have breast reduction surgery? Also, what is the ball-park for recovery time, i.e. when I can lift my child, etc. And if there's anyone out there that has had breast reduction surgery, if you had children after the procedure, were you still able to breast feed? Any advice will be helpful, as this is a much needed procedure for me and I need to have some peace of mind. THANK YOU!!! :-)

Thumbs up

I had a breast lift in December... and I had almost no down time at all. I know my situation is different than yours... just wanted you to know that I love my new look and pain for me was very minimal

Can't respond to your questions about lifting or breastfeeding again. But, I can tell you that a relative of mine had it done last summer. She was told that it would be a week or two of downtime, and repeatedly said that although she LOVES her new look, and would do it again in a minute, she wished her PS had been more honest about the downtime. She was out doing things in about 10 days, but was really tired and sore for at least a month, I believe. The tiredness was what lasted the longest. But, again, she would do it again if needed.
PSJunkie...would love to hear about your lift..especially how big the scars are, and if they're noticeable. I've considered it for a long time, but would prefer pointing south rather than have huge scars, lol. Glad you're so happy with it.

my wife had br surgery done. she ended up with a massive staph infection in both breasts and was sick and in pain for 9 months until the breasts healed. be sure that you check your doctor's credentials and make sure you talk with people who have had br surgery done by that doctor.
