rhinoplasty (nose job) - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Hello-I'm looking forward for doing my primary rhino but am nervous about picking the wrong doctor. I've done some research online but it's still nerve wrecking. Has anyone had any great first time nose jobs in the L.A. area? I've made a couple consults...one with Dr. Nassif in Beverly Hills and the other also from the same area, Dr. David Kim. Has anyone heard of Dr. Kim (his photos look good but how do you know what happens years from that). Also, does anyone know where to contact to get info on doctors to see if they have any lawsuits pending or other bad experiances?

I had a revision with Dr. Paul Nassif. He is awsome at Rhinoplasty and all other facial procedures. Dr. Kim does he surgeries in Dr. Nassif's surgery center. Dr. Kim is known for being a great Boob Dr. He does not have a reputation for rhinoplasty. But Dr. Nassif DOES, so you are on the right track.

I used Dr. Rollin Daniel in Newport Beach, CA for my primary last week. If you don't mind the hour or so drive I would highly reccomend him. I am very happy with my results so far!

Congratulations, from what I've read about the healing process, if you're happy with the shape of your nose only a week after your primary rhinoplasty you're going to be quite pleased several months from now. What type of changes did you make to your nose and how much does Dr. Rollin Daniel charge?

My nose was what I would call beaky. It was a little long. I also had a slight bump and a bulbous tip. From the front it wasn't that bad, but when I turned to the side was when you could really see how big it was. I now have a perfectly straight profile which I love. He made my nose substantially smaller, but it still looks very natural and fits my face. I still have a ton of swelling to go down but it looks great and I can't wait to see it in a few months! His fee on my nose was $7000 and the surgery center's fee was about $1300. I think it was totally worth it!
