how do you know if you have a case for a lawsuit?

heres what happend to me
im unhappy with my rhinoplasty but thats another story the thing that bothers me the most is what happend with the pre-maxillary (paranasal) implant inserted thru the mouth

1.) the doctor had admitted it was misplaced and that the implant was probably "too big"

2.) its caused nerve damage so that when i smile a certain way my face/lip will twitchh

3.) its caused weird scarring under my skin which creates a weird "smile line " even when im not smiling

4.) its caused a weird "swollen pocket" which has not gone down in two years

5.) he gave me a kenalog injection a couple of daysa go to the site of scarring and that area now is discolored and has a small dent.

i am so frustrated

i was not informed that the premaxillary implant would cause nerve damage or that it would limit my smile or that it could cause all these other problems such as the weird scarring and raised puffed pocket on my face...

he told me if i didnt like how it looked i could always take it out and i asked him would it inihibit my smile and he said that it wouldnt if he "cut" the implant or somehting like that

after the surgery i asked him if he had cut the implant and he said no and that he did not need to cut it ... i think it was part of his misjudgement because he also later admitted that the implant was probably too big and that he misplaced it!

if he didnt misplace it and if it werent so big i would not have had these problems...so all these problems are based on his own negligence.

do u think i have a case?
