Hi. I had soft form placed in my upper lip on a Thursday and looked like a chimpanzee until the following Wednesday. When the swelling went down, I discovered the soft form had not been placed in the right position and was in my face and not in my lip on one side (the other side looked great). My doctor tried to correct it, but a tunnel had already been created and the form didnt stay where it was suppose to. He removed it. Now I'm debating on having fat or alloderm (which is thinner) inserted. I had soft form put in my lower lip a year and a half ago, and that procedure went fine and I didn't have much down time. The upper lip apparently is much more sensitive.
As far as the nasal folds go, I had gortex in my 'dimple' lines. Either the doctor didn't place one in the right position, it was placed too near the top layer of the skin, or it shifted on its own. I now have a line that is an inch long, always red, and not in the depressed area.
Make sure you use a doctor that knows what he is doing and will back up what he does.
