Breast reduction...etc.....
Hi,
I had a breast reduction at age 16 (I was a double EE)because I was montrously huge for my age and weight. My reduction was to a C cup. It improved my quality of life by leaps and bounds.
Now I am 37 and I'm a DDD cup. Some of this excess cup size can be attributed to the fact I am 25 pounds overweight. But at my ideal weight of 135 I am a D to DD cup.
So I want another breast reduction.
Because I can't afford to have it here in the states I am going to have it done in Thailand (Bumrungrad Hospital). I know a lot of people will say "don't do it outside the US."
So before I have to defend my decision, I just want to remind you that Thailand and Brazil have some of the finest plastic surgeons in the world. Many have plastic surgery training in the US and are board certified in the US as well.
The doctor I picked has trained in the US and is an associate professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Anyway.....
Right now I am trying to lose the extra 25 pounds in order to be ready for the surgery. I want to be reduced to a B cup. Which is what I always wanted to be (even when I was 16).
I know a lot of women out who are thinking about breast enlargement from a B cup to something larger may question my B cup choice.
Please let me remind you that with bigger breasts come limitations like:
1)Heaviness and bouncing problems - can't play sports.
2) Excessive sweating and skin rashes. Big breasts in hot climates are a burden.
3)Big bras (three/four buckle) that may require underwires for PROPER SUPPORT. These are more like something your grandmother would wear. (I have seen a lot of natural C/D cup 20 something girls wearing bras way too small for their actual cup size. When they are in their 30's their breasts will hit the floor because of poor bra choices for their size.
4) Back/shoulder problems.
5) Difficulty finding fun clothes and bathing suits.
And what I hated the most and still do....
6) When talking to men even in small exchanges having them not even look at your face, but instead fixate on your breasts. Hello!!!! There is a person that goes along with the breasts!!!!
Really, this is what is like for me to have DD to DDD breasts. The problems of big breasts are more than just aesthetic. They are social and physical as well.
So, I will be going from a DD or D cup to a B cup.
But since this is my second operation I am wondering if anyone out there has experienced this problem of getting bigger over time after a reduction and then having second reduction? |
