I am in Indianapolis and looking for a good surgeon who does abdominoplasty. Who are the best abdominoplasty physicians in the city? Anyone in Indy have a tummy tuck? I had a consult with Barry Eppley on Friday..liked his demeanor, but don't want to be taken in. How many good experiences vs. bad with him? I've read one bad one on here..but one doesn't speak for all.

Just wanted to add I have two other consult appointments made with Dr. Linderman and Dr. Short of Indianapolis. Anyone heard anything about them?

Have you considered Drs. Jerrold Laskin and William Beeson for consultations? I've heard that they are both good and were listed in Indianapolis Monthly as seasoned plastic surgeons. I wouldn't necessarily go for the cheapest price on the surgery, but the doctor who has done the most abdominoplasties and with good results. Ask for names of people that have had the procedures done by each doctor to determine who may have the best track record. Sometimes the office personnel have had it done and you could ask to see their before and after pictures. If the doctor is good, then they will be happy to show you the pictures too.

I plan on making an appointment with Dr. Laskin tomorrow..but Dr. Beeson is a new name to me.

You can find a variety of surgeons to choose from in search engnines and dirictories and look under plastic surgeons in Indianapolis. Sometimes the websites are listed too so you can even schedule appts with them from your computer. It's best to keep interviewing them and then you don't feel pressured to make a hasty decision.
