I posted a reply to you on the other thread too, but I got my recomendation from my OBGYN. She has seen lots of patiants who have had or need surgery and as a surgeon herself I asked who she would go to. interestingly enough she said someone else for brest if I ever needed it. So I would start with a Dr you trust and ask "if you had to do this who would you go to".
I am lucky, I have a few Dr friends and dr's that are spoused of friends so i felt very comfortable with my choice as any time I said his name all I got was praise.
The other recomendation I would make to you, not knowing where you live, is do it in cooler weather. you will not be able to wear underware for quite awhile. I lived in sweats and pajama pants for close to 6 months. And the heat will make you more uncomfortable.
