Has anyone heard of this and if so has anyone had it done?
Is it better then botox?

I've had restylane injections. It's very easy and lasts for 6 to 12 months. I had an indented scar and some lines filled with restylane. Botox is used to paralyze muscles to prevent you from making lines. Botox isn't a filler.

If you only have lines and wrinkles when you smile or frown then you need Botox. If you have wrinkles and lines when your face is at rest, then you need a filler like restylane.

Well it depends. Like what areas are you looking to get done? If you want the lines between your eyebrows done then Botox is the right thing. If you want naso labial lines or smile lines you need to get Restylane.

I had one syringe of Restylane injected into my nasolabial folds and laugh lines the third week of January. The change is subtle and not dramatic, but then I'm only 33. For example, a family member said she couldn't notice any difference, but to me there was a definite, subtle difference which I was satisfied with. I think I'd need 2 syringes to have a longer lasting more dramatic result which I may do. I believe the second syringe is discounted. It is now almost 7 months later and I am definitely due for a top-up. It is a bit painful, even with the numbing ointment. My doctor also suggested I consider nasolabial fold inserts but I have heard mixed reviews on those given that they are placed above the muscle. Other longer lasting filler options include Artecoll which I believe is permanent.
