Breast Implants
Hoping someone might be able to offer some feedback on a complication with my saline implants. I had an augmantation in January, and the implant (under the muscle) in my left breast has dropped down to the point that a considerable portion of it can be easily seen, and easily felt, when I lift my arm. My surgeon has confirmed that it is indeed the implant moving, but much to my surprise said that she wanted to wait six weeks and have a look at its position then. She advised me to wear an underwire bra in the meantime, however, I am experiencing some pain (especially when I put pressure on the left side or bend over) around the breast, and underwires can be uncomfortable. It seems to me that another surgery is inevitable at this point to corect the problem, and I am very dissapointed. My surgeon also mentioned that she is uncomfortable with the thought putting another scare in a different position, and almost seems reluctant to correct the problem, but I don't think it can remain as it is. It is painful and unattractive. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience? Thanks.
