Anyone hear of Restilyn? - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Hi, I might be spelling this wrong . The doctor said its really good and safe to fill in lines.Its injectable, and it lasts 8 months.

But I now know, you can't take what the doctor says at face value. Any one heard of this and how were the results?

Kind of a late response - I'm thinking seriously about getting Restylane. I know of one person who's had it and swears by it. She used to get collagen. It's supposed to be longer lasting than collagen. I wouldn't worry much about having it done as long as you use a reputable Dr.

My surgeon injected perlane into my upper lip and the white roll above it. It is still visible and was injected in March and should last until fall. Perlane is an injectable like restylane with hyauronic acid so that it is absorbed back into the body w/o side effects or lumpiness. I am happy with it but did it to see if I want the permanent look and now I think that I will have advanta surgically implanted to bypass the continual injections. The cost for what I had was about $500.00.

Perfect....who did your work?
I have family in Indy...and go there quite often as the docs in my town are not quite "the best"! I am looking for someone to fill out the slackness in my upper lip and maybe cheeks.
