Foamed Sclerosant for Varicose Veins - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Does anyone have any experience with this? It is suppose to be a more effective solution than just the liquid form in collapsing varicose veins. I live in the midwest and was wondering if anyone knew of a doctor using this. I would be grateful for any information. Many thanks.

I read an article on this method of getting rid of spider veins. The article mentioned that you could find specialists in your area who are vein specialists but because this is a relatively new procedure, you will have to ask these doctors if they perform the injections or they may refer you physicians who do. You could also get some information by typing "foam sclerotherapy" into a search engine.
It really sounds like a fantastic way to get rid of these pesky things. Good luck.

I have read that foam sclerotherapy is a procedure that should only be used in conjunction with other procedures and not to as the sole means by which to eliminate a varicose or spider vein.
