Just had Botox!! - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Hello All,
I just had Botix today..........I actually had an anxiety attack as I was so afraid I was doing something that was going to really cause me damage ect. I have to say it felt crunchy as he injected it. I only wanted to do between my eyebrows but he said it was the same price and my forehead needed it too.........I just thought try a little to see if I react.........I do have a head ache but that may be psycosamatic as I was told that could happen. He did sneak a few injections in the corners of my eyes wich really freaked me and I have a goo bruise on one eye.......I am so afraid of "drooping." I will see progress over the next 5 days then he said come back if I feel he missed any spots. I will keep you all posted on my progess. WISH ME LUCK!!

I've been doing botox for several years, and my forehead and between my brows looks good. I used to have it done on the corners of my eyes but didn't seem to make much difference when I smiled. The skin around my eyes stilled crinkled so why spend the $$.

Keep me posted, ok? about your like/dislikes. And, how is that bruise coming along? That's the only thing I hated about Botox - I got some BAD bruising around my eyes and had to use heavy makeup for SIX weeks for one of the bruises. Very difficult to cover up.

Edited to add: And, if I were you, I'd find a new doctor...someone who will not give you Botox where you said you didn't want it. I can't believe he just went ahead and injected your eye areas. That's outrageous, imo.

Today is 5 and I LOVE IT!!! I did not tell my husband and he thought I looked "younger" for some reason or had gotten some good sleep! How Funny...........I have friends say my eyes look bigger. I am going to be a Botox Junkie if I can afford it.......It cost me 380.oo for forhead , between brows and he did the corners of my eyes. I won't have it there again. The bruise is still there. DId not bruise anywhere else. I was amazed at how much it would change from the a.m. to p.m. each day. How many years ahve you been getting it? Any things happen besides bruising that you did not like? Can you become immune to it and it stops working?

Keep me posted on how you like it as well!
