Only a derm or a plastic surgeon would be able to answer your question. There are many types of peels and lasers that can have a remarkable improvement but it depends on the condition that your skin is in. If you scar, or if you are pron to keloids.

I've seen a lady that was a smoker for over 20 years get a level 4 chemical peel. She was in awful pain and her face swelled something fierce. All that subsided in about 2 weeks and in other week her face had almost completely peeled. It left her with a tera cotta skin tone for about 3 months. In about 6 months she was a smooth almost wrinkle free lady. I sked if she would do it again and she answered yes in a heart beat. The pain was worth the results.

I have a friend that gets the Obigi Blue Peel once a year along with monthly microdermabrasion every 3 weeks. She's married into wealth and has had all the works done. Her face is starting to look weird like it's made of rubber.

You can do combonations of facelift and chemical peel. Or Titan which is a 4-6 session laser that is suppose to make the body produce collegan and tone the muslces in the face. I had it done. I see alot of improvement in my jaw and throat the eyes I an still working on.

A silk peel is a maintance facial. I get those too. It removes the dead skin on your face and reduces the lines. It's not permament but it feels so good.

I'm going for a Fraxel laser in the winter. I am in the sun daily and once you get any chemical or laser you are required to stay out of the sun for as long as the procedure calls for. SOme require a few weeks.

Your best bet is to make a few consulations with a derm or plastic surgeon. Most plastic surgeons in my area give free consults for things that do not require surgery as well as alot of derm's.
I know each doctor has their own rules. Call the offices and ask if there is a fee for a consult.
