Clogged ear after facelift - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

I am 3 days post-op from a mini facelift and chin implant. So far everything looks good, but I notice that my right ear feels clogged up. When I mentioned in to the PS when I was being discharged he said it is either caused by swelling or dried blood in the ear and it will clear up. I have a follow-up with him next week.

Has anyone experienced this? Does it go away? I really appreciate input. This is a wonderful board.

I have seen that posted here on this board, and it did resolve its self in time, it was just swelling

As an aside, do you have stitches in front of the ears? How is that doing? Did you have a necklift, as part of the mini face lift? Thanks. Hope you are feeling better?
