im going in 2 weeks for a deviated septum repair,rhinoplasty which includes an open procedure with bump reduction,osteotomies,turbinate reduction,and tip reduction.becuase i opted for tip work it is best for an open procedure,this is where the PS makes a cut between your nostrils and lifts up your nose.if i was just going in for bump reduction the incisions would have been made inside the nose.if you have tip work done,swelling will last longer.i was just told on thursday that it takes a good year to see the results.as far as swelling it depends on a lot of things such as if you drink alcohol or not.as far as anethesia,im getting general along with something down my throat to help me breathe better.i started to look into this the beginning of this year to help me breathe better and to possibly stop my snoring.im tired of sleeping on the couch if you know what i mean.any other questions just ask
