Skin thickening after revision rhinoplasty? - Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery Message Board

Hi, I have had a couple of rhinoplastys, the last being 4 years ago. After my third, the skin around my nose thickened. I then had a fourth rhino, in order to have the skin thinned. The skin around the tip had thinned, but the skin around the middle part of my nose is still thick. The skin is soft and feels like it is not attached to the cartlidge. In the morning the skin swells up and resides. What are my options. I dont think I can go through another surgery. Is cortisone therapy an option for the skin. Please help. Thankyou.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. I did the injections for a year and it didn't help at all. I'm going to have another surgery eventually to remove the thickening as well but after hearing that it came back for you I'm very nervous. Who did you go to?
