| Costochondritis and cold weather
Hello, I have been suffering from costochondritis on and off for nearly 9 years now. I grew up and lived in the northwest where the weather is colder when I first got this condition. I then moved to the southwest for 5 years in. Very hot climate, and can not remember ever getting the condition while there. Since moving back to the northwest I've gotten costochondritis twice, both times as the seasons turned from summer to fall. They have lasted longer and been harder for me to get over, to the point it was painful to do anything.
I have the opportunity to move back to the southwest and was wondering if any of you feel that cold rainy weather causes your costo to flare up? Also, do any of you who have it live in a desert area that is warm to hot year round? Rheumatoid Arthiritis runs in my family and I am thinking this may be the cause of my costo.
Thanks in advance for your responses!
