 slipped rib/costochondritis
Hello,
I am not sure if I am on the correct board. I have been having lower back pain since this summer. The pain goes to my back to around the area under my rib cage in front. I have had x ray of back, chest, blood tests, ultra scan, and ct scan. All came back normal. Is anyone familar with slipped rib syndrome & or costcondritis. I can actually move the ribs on left side, pop them in & out. Waiting on a call from my Dr to ask his opinion. I have been in pain since this started & have been on ultracet for several months, it helps...but sometimes the pain flares up so bad I stand it. What I have researched it can be caused by trauma or idopathic. I had a bad flare up of pain for days after the ct scan, while trying to cook dinner & answer my husbands questions about the computer I thought I was going to just loose it..so I took a xanax (prescribed to help me sleep)..15 minutes later the pain was almost gone. I am also on lexapro for chronic pain.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with this ...?
