Costochondritis pain

Does anybody know if Costochondritis can cause upper back pain? I have had this for a rew months and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I also have pain in my waist where the lower ribs are and in the middle. My waist feels hard and bruised and I can't sit comfortably in a chair because it feels like my abdomen is getting in the way of my waist or vice versa. Plus I also have the usual upper rib/chest pain and tightness. Does anyone know when this will end? I thought it was supposed to get better.

Re: Costochondritis pain

Hiya,

Thanks for replying. I am glad I am not the only one out there feeling this way. The doctors have given me all sorts of pills and nothing seems to work, in fact some of them make me sicker! I hope you get some relief one day...best of luck!
