I have had it for 26 years so I guess the answer on my part would be--How well do you cope with the pain? And, Can you take any pain relief meds on your job or are you restricted? It comes and goes sometimes, although I have had it constant over the last 6 years. When I was younger I would only have episodes lasting a few weeks at a time and remission for several months. I think it is one of those unpredictible situations.
