Questions about Costochondritis

Hey guys I am wondering if you can answer some of my questions;

Does costochondritis gradually get worse over 7 months?

Does costochondritis pain change in duration?

Does costochondritis have new chest pains?

Does Costochondritis move around the chest from left to center of the chest?

Does it cause tightness of the chest?

Does it cause discomfort when walking/exertion

Do you get left arm discomfort at the same time?

Does it cause shortness of breath?

Does it get worse if you have an energy drink?

Does it cause nausea?

My center of chest is sore to touch....

Thanks guys

Re: Questions about Costochondritis

Hi darklink...I will try to answer some of your questions.

Have you had your costochondritis checked out by the doctor? If so, have they done anything to help you? I know that my got worse as time passed, but after getting some help from the doctor I was able to stop that from happening.

My pain did change in duration, but it was always in the same spot. I usually feel it in the left and center of my chest. At times it does feel like a tightness in my chest.

My doctor diagnosed me with costochondritis when she pressed on the spots I said were painful. When she did that she recreated the pain. So yes your chest would be sore to the touch.

I hope I was able to help you out. Sorry I couldn't answer all of your questions.
