Therapeutic tape?
Has anyone been diagnosed with constochondritis and been treated with therapeutic (kinesio) tape? I am considering asking for a referral to therapy, but I have an adhesive allergy and would like some input from anyone who has tried this, before risking a reaction. If the taping works, I would be willing to deal with the allergy.

Re: Therapeutic tape?
After dealing with this condition for over 20 months, I went for my first physical therapy appointment today for costochondritis and asked for kinesio tape. The taping was over my pectoral muscle. My swelling at the rib-sternum junction is palpable. Fourteen hours with kinesio tape and my rib-sternum swelling is noticeably decreased. I was also told that I need to work on breathing from my diaphragm more than my chest.
