| Suspected Crohn's...
A blood test done by my doctor a few weeks ago is suggesting that I have Crohn's disease. I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy, but it's still a few weeks away (gotta love busy GI doctors), and the symptoms are becoming unbearable. Between the cramping, irregularity and fatigue, I can't do anything or go anywhere. I was fired because my boss didn't understand that I was ill, and had to drop the classes I was taking, which wasn't that much of a load to begin with.
Since the appointment is still so far away, I want to know if there's anything I can do to help my body feel better now. I don't have a diagnosis yet, but my doctor is reasonably sure that it's Crohn's. Are there any supplements I can take to help improve my health? I'm thinking something like a Multivitamin, D3 and Align probiotic. Between the Multi and D3, the vitamin D would be about 1200IU a day.
