Ulcerative Colitis

Has anyone kept up with their flare ups and when they occur from Ulcerative Colitis?

Re: Ulcerative Colitis

Absolutely! I've treated mine successfully with 5-ASA meds...Asacol (oral) and Salofalk rectal retention enemas for over 21 years. My UC is limited..proctosigmoiditis.

I'm on 6 ASacol (3 twice daily) and use the enemas nightly to treat the flares and taper to a maintenance of twice weekly.

You should check out the bowel disorders forum on this site...lots of info there.
