Treatment for Crohn's?

I was diagnosed with Crohn's two years ago. I've been taking Asacol(3tabs twice a day) and Remicade infusion every 8 weeks. I'm doing very well. But I'm wondering if anyone has stopped Remicade completely and been successfull or if anyone has used it at intervals of 9, 10, 11 or 12 weeks and still had success with it.
Is anyone using any other treatments that are working well?

Re: Treatment for Crohn's?

I was wondering this exact same thing. I am coming up on my 6th infusion and am also doing well with my crohn's although not so well with my sponylitis (the main reason i'm on it). I am borderline sick with cough and sinus infections ALL THE TIME!! I am scared to stop as it may get worse and I've heard you can not start again. So confused.
