pregnancy
I have had crohns for three years.I have been on several different medicine that hav not worked. GI doctor just put me on Azathioprine and i have read that it can cause inferlity is that wright? I have two surgery with this and was in the hopital for almost with a month when they finialy figured out that i had crohn's. With having crohns is it harder to get pregant me and my husband been trying for a while dont know what else i can do?

I am sorry to say that I don't know that much about getting pregnant and how crohn's affects it, but I will tell you this. You cannot take any of the drugs that treat crohn's, because alot of them are immunosuppresants, and cause bad side affects for baby. I took asacol while I was pregnant and it was safe. But the other treatments are dangerous. Hope this helps.
