| debillitating pain...im flaring
After being on heavy pain meds for kidney issues which have now been resolved after two procedures and a 3 day hospital stay last week...the initial constipation from the pain meds has worn off and im left with what I believe to be flare. The pain I have experienced today alone has been so debilitating I am really at a loss of what to do and feeling helpless. I have gone to the restroom about every ten minutes since waking up this morning and am frankly exhausted and weak. Im having the most horrible pain on my left side along with cramping that stops me in my tracks. I am unable to walk, have to pull over when driving, etc. The pain is only made better when I have a bowel movement...until the process starts all over again. I've made an apt with my general dr tomorrow to be referred to a gi to start the process of getting on meds again but frankly I want relief now. I dont know if I can take another day like today. Any advice?
