Another day, another fistula....

So I have yet another anal fistula......

I wass diagnosed in 2008 after the birth of my son with Crohn's Disease. At the time of his birth I was having awful anal pain and they thought I had some form of abcess but it turns out it was an anal fistual. I had multiple surgeries in which the put a seton (aka fancy name for a rubber band) into the opening to keep it patent. I was told that I would live with it forever. Then January 2012 I noticed more drainage about an inch from the original and of course it was a fistula. They decided to put another seton into this one so now I have matching red rubber bands. Well guess what...... I see drainage again and it looks like I have another fistula. It's like I'm immune to getting upset about it anymore. I have been taking Pentasa 3000mg for my "mild Crohn's" that seems anything other than mild.I am really not trying to go the immunosuppresive route due to current career choice. Anyone else have trouble with fistulas? What therapies have you tried?
