Question Resistant Staph Infections

When I was recently in the hospital, the doctors ordered a culture and it came back with MRSA (the staph that is resistant to almost everything). Does anyone else have this or has anyone had it before? Is there a chance that it will go away eventually or is it like most of the other staphs and stays in your airways? I'm on the transplant list but if I'm resistant to all the antibiotics they won't perform the transplant.
