Genetic Blood testing can take one to two weeks to get results. Sweat test results are almost immediate, though it needs to be done at an accreditted CF facility.
CF is a genetic disease that can affect the lungs, pancreas, digestive system... Symptoms can very from loose stools -- though sometimes there can be constipation issues. Sinus problems. Frequent lung infections... You could contact the cystic fibrosis foundation for information regarding CF, they have the most up to date info. Not sure if there's a chapter in your area.
