| Need help understanding lab results. PLEASE!
My husband and I are both Jewish and decided to have screening done before trying to get pregnant because we knew he was a carrier. He has the W1282x gene. I just got the blood work back from my regular dr who does not know a lot about the test. She said I have the 7T and 7T variant. I understand this does not make me a carrier but does anyone know if that mixed with my husbands gene can cause our baby to have CF? I put in a call to my OBGYN who understands this better but he has not called me back and I am obviously a little concerned. I appreciate your help in advance!
