My daughter will be going to Children's hospital in Milwaukee the end of Feb. to have a sweat chloride test and see pulmonologist....something I've noticed is she has episodes of neon green poop...first it was pale yellow then neon green...it's not related to any food, (she doesn't really eat much and definately very little food with color...another concern). Always very soft. She hadn't been sick...now she's starting with her lungs again. This has happened on and off. Anyone else? I know about the mucus, and "bulky" foul smells...but what about color?
I've racked my brain but my daughter is not eating very well and usually just "white" foods...hasn't chewed on a crayon or anything either...First it was pale yellow...hmmm? can't really find anything on the internet about it.
DS's were more greenish, greenish yellow when he was on formula. There were kinda fluffy. Nowdays it's more greenish because he likes blue kool-aid, blue jello, blue yogurt... Never know what color he's going to have.
If you're concerned, see if you can get your local doctor to order a fecal fat test or get your appointment moved up.
Thanks....you've been so helpful with my posts!! Today her stool was with mucus....and very smelly. Something's up. I'll definately check with her pediatrician....thanks again!
