Re: Christmas Greetings to all!

Hi, and thanks for the warm wishes. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I dont recall ever feeling so excited about a New Year. I believe we will be getting more good news about the advancement of treatments for CF. I have to share this dream I had, it gave me so much encouragement. My daughter was in the car and when I opened the door and looked back at her a dove was sitting with to her. Im not sure what it means but it sure made me feel good. Sweet dreams to all of you!

Re: Christmas Greetings to all!

oh what a lovely dream taylor33! it's gorgeous! how did you do on the lst visit re. the patch on your daughter's lung - any updates? I think you're right - things are gonna get better. there is a lovely young outspoken woman here 21 year old with cf, she writes for the Irish Times - passionately - about living with cf and the sorry state of our health system here. Her name is Orla and she keeps saying in every interview she gives - 'there's never been a better time to have cf!' I think it's really encouraging too and to echo you again, happy new year to us all!

Re: Christmas Greetings to all!

Hi again, my little one is doing well. We wont know until next year how the area on her lung is looking. Doctor wasnt concerned about it so we will just do the yearly Xray. We will test for liver level again in Feb. How about your little one? I hope all is well. Its great to hear about Orla, I love her name. Take care!

Re: Christmas Greetings to all!

Hey T33, well it's good news if they are not worried til next year at the annual xray. I'm glad to hear that. my little monkey is great thanks. still on the neb but no problems with it. I tried taking my first cough swab today and sent it into the hospital to see how the pseudomonas is or isn't hopefully. dunno if I did it right tho. managed to get an appointment for her first annual review with a highly regarded specialist in Dublin hospital in March so i think I will just keep her on the neb til then and go ahead and do swabs evry month as recommended. she's in great form tho and thats the main thing isn't it.Yes Orla is a nice name,
