Re: Body temp. fluctuations between fever and cold
My husband died of cancer about a month ago and he was also under hospice care.
For a time, about 2 or 3 months before he died he was always cold. Then for the last 6 weeks of his life he always felt warm. He never had a fever and sometimes everyone would feel that he could not possible be warm and would try to cover him and he would sweat.
I also saw your other thread about pain. My husband was also on morphine and it is pretty much impossible to know why one has pain but he did. I also did not want him to sleep, but to watch him in pain was not worth it.
