| Dad Is Dying - Documentation as therapy(?)
A friend of mine recently told me that after caring for her mother and brother, both of whom fought terminal illnesses and died within a year or so of each other, told me that she wasn't sad when they died - she was relieved for them and herself. She said that she did all of her processing during their end of life, and while she took care of them.
I think that I'll very likely feel the same way when the time comes with my father. I just began blogging (anonymously) about the process and it's been incredibly helpful to put my feelings, findings, anecdotes, philosophies and observations into words.
I'm curious to find if anyone here has done the same, or if you know of any other blogs that have captured the process of impending and final loss. If so, will you please share with me these links?
Many, many thanks.
