| Carbon Dioxide and Unconscious
My mum passed away from End stage c.o.p.d rencently december 2009, The doctors told my brother the high levels of Carbon dioxide made her go to sleep and go Unconscious, but she could still here my brother and my self's voice but has no response . Is this true? Does Carbon Dioxide cause no pain effect and the Unconsciouspart of it ? while passing away after the docs turned the ventaltion lung machine off that forced oxygen into her lungs .
