Re: I need Help, Fetynal and back pain

Fentanyl is a bad way to go and if it's not working you should go right back and tell them so. You should look into a pain pump which floods the area with medication for the pain management. I was on Fentanyl for a year, no good and no better than oral meds. Also there is a great chance for dire circumstance with the Fentanyl. I am on orals now and I learned that I could no longer work. Really, if the pain is that bad you should not be at work taking that much medication anyway. You should not drive either. Everyone is different but there is a time when you must make that all so hard decision- to work or not to work? I had to do it, it was really hard but I just had to do it.
I have been disabled since 2007, my last days of work were horrible and I don't even really know how I got there and home on all the meds I had to take to just get up out of bed every morning.
